Art Classes

Hilltop’s class offerings change from time to time to reflect the desires of our members and friends. Here’s what’s happening now.

Saturday at the Gallery: Art classes for children, ages 5 to 15, are available from 10:30 to noon. No advanced registration is required. A $2.00 fee covers supplies.

Saturday Painters: Young artists serious about learning how to paint, Saturdays 12:30 to 2:30 - $5 for supplies.

Monday Painting Class: Painters gather at the studio from 11am to 2pm weekly in an open studio format. Art teacher Bernie Medley is on hand to offer guidance and tips. A small donation is requested to cover gallery costs. Art supplies are available.

Tuesday Painting Class: Meeting every Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 8pm, painters work on their own projects getting advice and expertise from Bernie Medley and Virginia Dickison. A small donation is requested, and art supplies are available.

Photo Group: The group meets monthly on the third Wednesday, from 7 to 8:30pm. The format involves a friendly critique session and then a presentation on an item of interest to photographers.
